My mother, Lord rest her soul, advised me to associate with people who are somewhat (mildly) insane. Jim and i have been friends for many years. My mother would approve.

i have known the man more years than the rest of you combined. he is my biological older brother. for the 60 years of my life i have never understood a word he said, and could not make sense of 99.9% of anything he has done.it is very good to hear that 4 of the 10billion people on the planet actually have a clue regarding my beloved brother.

  7. Bob Sueter Says:

Jim is my cousin. Actually he is more like a brother. I can understand why his students like him. He loves what he does, cares about people, and has a great zest for life. The only thing disappointing is that he thinks shoveling snow is great exercise.

Jim Mara aka Fred Astair, eka Jimmy Tradwinds, what can u say about the man that hasn’t already bee said. A zest for teaching, a zest for life, one of the best human beings I know, besides my wife of course and not mention, a great fishing buddy.
